Who shows up in the videos?▾
Your expert. You record a 2–3 minute reference video (face + voice). HeyGen builds an avatar from that, and every rendered module uses that avatar speaking the polished script. The expert does not have to be on camera for any module beyond the original consent reference.
How is this different from just using HeyGen directly?▾
HeyGen renders avatars; it does not interview your expert, generate the curriculum, or polish a teachable script. Tincture is the production layer above HeyGen — the Knowledge Extractor agent and the Script Polisher are the actual moat. You can also bring your own HeyGen account on Studio and Studio Pro.
What does a finished module cost on the per-course agency tier?▾
Done-for-you 12-module courses are $15,000 flat — full extraction, polish, render, 30 days of revisions, premium avatar, and hosted portal or LMS export. Traditional agencies charge $24k–$60k for the same scope.
Can I run this on my own machine with my own API keys?▾
Yes. Studio Pro Lifetime ($149 one-time) ships an MCP server and Electron app that drives Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, or Ollama for the agents and your own HeyGen + ElevenLabs accounts for rendering. Free CLI and a Claude Code skill bundle are also published under MIT.
What about consent and likeness rights?▾
Mandatory video consent capture is recorded and pinned-immutable in your project. HeyGen’s ToS prohibits redistribution of avatars or voice clones outside the original consenting party — Tincture honors that contractually and operationally. The expert owns the avatar.
How fast can I edit a single line in a module?▾
Editing one line of the script re-renders only that module. Target turnaround is under five minutes per affected module on Studio Pro and Agency tiers.
Are courses translated automatically?▾
Multi-language localization is on the roadmap (HeyGen supports 140+ languages). Per-language add-ons are $2,000 each on the done-for-you agency tier; hosted SaaS localization will follow once enough customers ask.
When will Tincture launch?▾
